Gone, but not forgotten
Post Covid and grad school, Bux worked with a wonderful group of volunteers and friends in the interest of creating a safe, alcohol free environment for LGBTQIA+ youth and other sober community members. Although the pursuit of a brick and mortar location was abandoned, Joule’s was a successful pop-up venue for 2 years, with a variety of different events and collaborations, including being elected to compete in Start Garden 100 class of 2021.
