I am a queer artist and performer
based in Grand Rapids, MI…

dedicated to challenging the gender binary. I hold a Master’s of Fine Arts in Painting (2021) and a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Illustration (2007) from Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, MI. With over 20 years of experience in design, art, and illustration.

My fine art work centers around gender representation and deconstructing the gender binary. I use performance art, public speaking, published writings, and other creative form to achieve this goal. I have aslo become a bit of a public figure since taking on this task.

I have a rich background in customer service, marketing, sales, event coordination & planning, teaching, and management. Throughout my career, I have honed strong communication skills, essential for successful client and business interactions.

I excel as a problem solver, remaining composed under pressure and infusing humor into tense situations. I bring creativity, organization, flexibility, and passion to my leadership roles, both in my tasks and in fostering a sense of community. With experience in teaching art at various levels, I prioritize patience, understanding, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. I am a highly motivated individual who believes in the power of dreams and perseverance.
